1. Beach Renourishment Starting Soon

Welcome to the World's Most Beautiful Beaches! Beauty comes with a price tag... Our beaches are no different. County Commissioners approved a $17 million contract for beach renourishment project.

The project will be taking sand from the outer parts of the Gulf and bringing it to the shore, adding width to our beaches. The process will begin the first week of March and is set to be complete on April 15th.

More space on the shore means more room for beach volleyball, building the best sand castles, and relaxing on the warm sand. We are looking forward to this expansion and for spring time by the water!
